RENT 10th Anniversary Performance
The Tony award winning Broadway musical RENT celebrated it's 10th anniversary in style on Monday April 24th 2006 with the reunion of original cast members for a one off semi-staged benefit performance at the Nederlander Theatre, New York City. Over $2,000,000 was raised from the concert which will benefit three non-profit groups -- 'The Friends in Deed', 'The Jonathan Larson Performing Arts Foundation' and 'The New York Theatre Workshop'. Tony Vincent's connection with this musical began in June 1998 when he gained a part with the RENT touring production before making his Broadway debut in early 1999 cast in the lead roles of Roger Davis and then of Mark Cohen. Tony was one of many past 'Mark' and 'Roger's' in attendance at the packed out benefit show, and he joined the reunited company onstage for a touching finale performance of 'Seasons of Love' at the end.
