A very significant date in Tony Vincent's calendar and career is fast approaching. April 20th 2010, will not only represent the official opening of Green Day's punk rock-opera "American Idiot", but it will also go down in TV-history as the day that Tony returns (and explodes) onto the Broadway stage!! It's a momentous occasion for Tony (and for us), so, to mark his special opening night, I propose that we group together and send him a very special celebratory gift from us all. If you tune into the Grammy Awards tomorrow night (31st January) on CBS at 8pm ET / PT, you'll see TONY VINCENT and the rest of the Broadway company of AMERICAN IDIOT performing '21 Guns' alongside GREEN DAY, LIVE at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles!! I have received word from Spike Edney (SAS Band leader) that our petition to bring Tony back to the UK to perform at the SAS Christmas gigs has been SUCCESSFUL!! TV TO THE UK FOR SAS GIGS 2009--SIGN THE PETITION! An exciting opportunity has come about which could bring Tony Vincent across the pond to perform at the SAS gigs in the UK this Dec 16th, 17th 19th, BUT the invitation depends on there being enough 'fan demand' for his appearance. So, a petition has been launched and we're counting on YOUR support to make this happen. (read full newsletter). 4TH AUGUST 2009: TONY LANDS ROLE IN GREEN DAY THEATRICAL! Tony Vincent has landed a prestigious role in the new Green Day Rock Opera "American Idiot" - a musical-theatre adaptation of the band's 2004 album. He will be playing the role of "St Jimmy" in the show's 6-week run in the Berkeley Rep Theatre, California, which begins previews on Sept 4th 2009.... (read full newsletter).
