Tony Vincent's recording career began in the Christian music industry when he produced an EP and two albums which steered the direction of this musical scene from one of 'happy clappy', to a style that focused on lyrically strong and passionate music. Despite the success of Tony's two albums he found that his kind of music did not fit with what the Christian music industry was looking for at that time and he could not see a way to expand his career in that direction, so he packed his bags and left Nashville to pursue an all out rock deal in New York City.
Tony's plan of a recording career in New York was to be put on hold for some seven years however, as Broadway and the West End beckoned and he responded to the continual call for his talents on stage in musical theatre and in musical projects worldwide.

A BETTER WAY EP
Released 2007: A new kind of rock-influenced pop designed not only to "wow" in live performances (and recordings), but - and this is at the core of Vincent's creative intentions - give hope through his lyrics as well.
ONE DEED
Released 1997: Tony Vincent's 2nd major label release (EMI). Includes the radio singles "Reach Out", "Do You Really" & the United Way of America anthem "One Deed". "At one end this opens with the pop funk of "Reach Out" to grab your attention, and continues in strong form with the title tune and the acoustic groove of "Fighting Over Love Songs", which reminded me of Jackson Finch. The album's delicious dream-like closing song "Closer To Your Dreams" is the one moment where Tony Vincent presents a song that stands out from the crowd." -- Mike Rimmer.
TONY VINCENT
Released 1995: From the opening bass driven "Must Be The Season", you know this album is not going to take prisoners. With the production team of Brent Bourgouis and Charlie Peacock, you also know that you don't have to ask too many questions about the quality of the music. The finger of Bourgouis is very evident and some of these songs could have fitted very snugly into his recent solo album without sounding out of place. Mike Roe from the 77s contributes the breathtakingly beautiful "Holiday" which takes the listener from the striving of trying to earn salvation to the rest which God's grace brings. The intro to "High" made me think of the Beatles (circa Sgt Pepper?), "Shake The Money Tree" is a Gabrielesque groover - all low ethnic sounds and rhythms and "Out Of My Hands" is pop perfection. As with Peacock's best work, Vincent combines artistry and spirituality. This is how Christian music should be, music which surprises the ear and words that touch and challenge the soul. On the sleeve, Tony writes, "My goal...is to create music in an innovative and professional way...presenting Jesus Christ as a real and passionately loving God, whose grace is for everyone." He succeeded! -- Mike Rimmer.
LOVE FALLING DOWN EP
Released 1993: Tony Vincent's indie-release... produced out of a university recording studio. The title track, "Love Falling Down", is the song that charted without any radio promotion and the single that made the major labels take notice!
